HP Race Datalogger

Looking for some advise please, is there an upper limit to the lap length in terms of time and/or distance? The reason I ask is could the data logger be used at the Isle of Man (37 miles) or the Nurburgingring (not sure of the distance) any advice would be appreciated from those owners who already use one of thesr

Can't see any problem as you can define your own start/finish line in track mode or use it in road mode.
But is anyone using the data logger in regular track / practice applications. I'm finding it very hard to manage and would appreciate any practical support to manage the basic functions that anyone can offer

Yep I took the bike for a fifty mile ride and set the sample size to the lowest sampling frequency, I need to check the file size and then simply equate sampling frequency to expected duration, good luck at the IOM

I had the data logging cut out at around 125 minutes in race mode which is the highest/most data tracking. It could have been because of tree coverage blocking GPS. Not sure, but it never came back on that ride. Other times I have gotten over 245 minutes, but not sure if it was the same mode or not.

The 245min data log is around 80mb,

Race mode is 10ms / 100Hz
Track mode is 100ms / 10 Hz
Event mode is 500ms / 2Hz
Endurance mode is 1000ms / 1Hz

The duration should only be limited by the internal memory less a small amount for operating purposes, I am going to see if limiting the number of channels recorded can boost the overall duration
