good job! thats a very respectable number for first track outing with the bike.
if you gear it down it'll be a lot easier to launch.

yes your time start to count when you start to move, not when the green ligth shows
ohh and if you are going to make a burn out, dis engage the abs too...becuase the abs also push your rear brake when enabled

I hadn't dragged raced in 6 years... Ran my 2010 S1000 at 10.55 @ 141mph on 5th pass. Only 1.9 60ft, and I'm 215 Ibs. Get my 60 down in low 1.? I should run 9s

I got nearly the same on my first drag night, around 10.5 with traction on but got much higher trap speed due to my bike's mods and my weight of 180. Is your bike stock? Did you run with traction on?
You could run in the 9s but you may need a front strap kit at least to help you put the power down much earlier and harder.
