Help! Bike won't even turn on!

Hey, so I turn the key and nothing happens. Kickstand up, in Neutral. Battery is good, even tried my friends battery that is new. Same thing. I never use the kill switch so it's not that. Bike won't even turn on. Thinking its the ignition. To bad I just sold my E46 M3. Damnit.

check the start switch it's a commonly known problem on the s1k.it happened to me last july and was going to start tearing things but first i decided to write to this forum and i was guided to the start switch and problem solved.had to have it replaced under warranty

Just curious why did you sell the M3?

I'm trying to work up the courage to "pull the trigger" on a '13 before the demise of that slick V8, which will be gone forever.

My 2010 rr ignition switch went bad and needed replaced. Fixed under warranty. Works much better now. If anyone is interested, I have a 2011 black m3 convertible with all options for sale...$58,000
