Yeah WSBKs definitely are not 100 pounds lighter than their production counterparts.
For those interested dig up the rules for WSBK. Pretty interesting stuff and really determines how manufacturers design their production models bc of homoligation rules.
An example is the Ducati R models. 1198R Panigale R etc. The pistons are WSBK spec bc that is one aspect of the bike that must stay the same as a "production" model.
