What you guys think about Ohlins Steering Dampers for s1000rr

I want to replace the stock Steering damper unit with an after market one I was thinking about the Ohlins which fits in stock location. I am trying to keep the bike original in appearance. Anyone with experiance using Ohlins Steering Dampers? Anyone other dampers I should take a look at ( with stock location )

Do a search for this as it was recently just talked about through and through. In a Nutshell.... yeah, a lot of guys approve of doing the switch.

I bought a Ohlins because the stock one on my 2011 was useless , the one on my hp4 was pretty good but since I already had the Ohlins i swapped it out.

I have one on my 08 R6 and it is amazing. As I'm sure you know you're able to adjust the damping on the fly with the GPR. The Ohlins unit does not allow that.

I installed an Ohlins on mine....it solved head shake at WOT in 1-2-3 and really calmed the bike down. It's a must and a 300% improvement over the stock Sachs.
