I used two sets of the sport attack and then perelli's on my 2011. I liked the roll in of the conti.
I agree Prev1, I have a Conti race attack front & sport attack rear. I ran 32psi fr and 30psi rear. I found them really good and I did 5x 20 min sessions at 5-7 secs of the outright lap record. Admittedly it's a 1:05 sec a lap track, so its quite small but they performed great.

The k3 works well for a intermediate rider but they are really soft. I run 28 front and back then adjust by the way they look (if there hot tearing) most of the time I end up taking a pound or 2 more out. I have never had the conti stock tires but if its your first trackday you will be more then fine. A good starting point is 30psi and go down from there. Good luck and have fun

My personal recommendation is to throw fresh tires on and not risk scuffing a grand worth of body work.
I did a pretty long track day at JenningsGP here in Florida just a week ago on my stock contis (1,200 miles)...I ran 31 front and 28 rear at advice of a guy who tunes WSBK's. It was my first day on a track since I was a puppy and I slipped and slid all over the place...I have to say though as a former AMA expert license holder and with a little bit of flat track in my youth I kind of like the sliding on pavement...reminds me of flat track and my motocross'll be fine, just don't think you are Rossi or Stoner...the contis slide was very easy to read I thought...just don't get too froggy....a little bit of sliding will teach you to ride.
Red and Alpine White 2012 S1000RR, Austin Racing Full Inconel GP2R exhaust with titanium can, PCV with dyno tune by WSB tuner, AR CF Satin Belly Pan, R&G Racing side covers and wheel sliders and License plate relocation kit with rear light internal LED blinkers and brake lights.
