Regarding the adjustments, are you talking about the front forks or the rear shock?

front and rear to match...to start off my morning session
then, adjust accordingly depends on the track for the rest of day, which deals with tire temp and ground temp

I've gotta say, I found this video very, very interesting. I have a ton of respect for Dave and always listen when he speaks. However, I do keep hearing about how invasive the BMW traction control is and I just don't get it.. I can run some pretty fast trackday laps (1:59ish) at Thunderhill without it kicking in once. Is my traction control not on or what??? Also, when it does kick in, it's nice and smooth...it doesn't just kill the power...
Also, man, to fix the forks for $500, do it...the 30mm Ohlins Cart. kit needs at least that amount of work, as it needs a larger piston for more rebound damping...
The Kawi is an amazing bike...let's not forget that both CU and Toye could ride the stock Kawi faster than the stock BMW, despite the fact that the Kawi was down 20hp due to the fact that the ECU is clogged up with EPA crap...Reflash the ECU and the Kawi has almost as much power as the BMW...

Wade,
But you're cheating on the TC - aren't you running Pirelli 200/60's? If you have ++traction in the back, you're going to have a significantly different experience with the TC than the stock 190/55's.
I feel the TC turn on all the time and I'm barely doing 2:05's. (And, I don't want to turn it off - when the TC kicks in it means I need the help.)
Sorry, off-topic.
Ed

East Coast alternatives
I like the idea of improving the front forks for a reasonable cost as discussed in this thread, but was wondering if anyone knows anyone on the east coast offering similar services to what Dave Moss (Catalyst Reaction) offers. I really don't want to send my forks to Cali if I can get this service done more locally.
TIA

Understand your concern about shipping the forks. But I shipped mine to Dave from 3 states away. Communication was execellent. Turnaround was about 1 week. Not problems at all. Forks are much better then stock.

I've come to the conclusion that so-called suspension experts never agree on anything. One will say X is great and Y sucks, and the next will say exactly the opposite. I think there is a lot of personal preference - what works for one guy doesn't work for the next - in suspension setup that these guys would do well to acknowledge.
