Must be tough for you. Please know that I am not without compassion, or pity for you. Well, mostly pity.

Why did I not do this sooner!! Awesome mod, will do for now. I don't plan on doing any exhaust work until my susp is sorted. This will do!

Looks like a great mod. Gonna try it right after my break in servicing.

True... the biggest difference is around idle and up to about the 4-5K area. But in the end, you always get what you pay for

I got more than I paid for. Great sound between 1 to 5k. It's what I was looking for. I'm a happy camper.

i tried

It sounded good but I missed the pause of quick shifter and the burbling sound when going down hil in low gear at idle. Switch back . I still think that it is A+ mode.

I was curious about this, looked at the cables on my bike, and the plastic cover is gone. It must have fallen off. Would it hurt not to replace that cover? I don't see how it would hurt with no cover there. Thoughts?

Well THAT was about the quickest and easiest mod known to man. The photo of the retention clip was very helpful. Reading this entire thread once through was the ticket. Sounds good, too. Thanks to the contributors.

My 2 cents.......without the cover, I'd go ahead and pull the cables all the way off the bike. Cleaner look.
