DIY for the GothamCycles 55w HID kit

Need help with install. Mine is a 2010 S1000RR.
I cannot figure out how to take the OEM bulb out(The low and high beams).
I do not see any clips holding the bulb. Looks like a small plate with the bulb housing held by another larger plate outside.
Any help appreciated.

Figured it out. Did search here and found out some others had the same issue. I just have to pull on the prongs on the bulb harder, so it gets released from the back plate it is held on to. Slightly different on mine.

All installed. Looks and works great. Will try to post pictures of the lights tomorrow.

Got my kit in the mail today and installed shortly after. Still waiting on the LED markers, hopefully I'll get them tomorrow.

Install took maybe a hour. It was for the most part painless and went very smooth thanks to this write up. Just need the LED's to finish it off.

Side note for the people on here in Germany:
While installing these a guy in the shop that works at Vehicle Registration asked what color they are. I told him 5k and he said "Good, they will fail your inspection if they are any higher" He said they fail people all the time for anything more blue than these (5k). This is also the reason i opted for 3 year registration do i can do the mods i want without having to get it inspected again. Just a heads up.

Well Damn.....this is amazing !!

I got the kit in about 4 days (over Thanksgiving) from Gotham. Tonight, I read the DIY for 15 minutes and went to it.

Step-by-step with patience. No issues whatsoever. Took about 60 minutes from start to all lights lit. I used PIAA Xtreme White bulbs for the running lights. They are 168 T10.

Everything went just exactly as it's posted above. All lights fired right up without any second guessing or spade swapping.

I'll tell you that I'm SO f**king psyched that I had to post this before securing the wiring and ballasts.

It's just arctic white, killer light. I don't know how we lived without this mod.

How are those running light bulbs working out for you?
Do they kind of match the color of the HID bulbs?
