I am waiting for the newly designed carbon from ilmberger specific for the HP4.

Should be sweet!! Will definitely beat the $6500 cost the the matching HP version.

I wish I had done my research before ordering the hp carbon but when I ordered it and tacked it onto my financing they made me to believe the parts were already there and they would put them on but after everything was signed and the bike was out they told me the carbon had to be ordered.

How big of a difference is the Ilmberger carbon from the hp carbon side by side? From what I saw Ilmberger has more pieces I want that hp doesnt have like the frame covers and top tank piece.

On december there will be a motorcycle show in NYC. On the bmw showroom, they give away coupons for 20 or 30% off bmw accessories. I got all my hp carbon parts using that coupon. It ended up costing the same as ilmberger. But i also have ilmberber parts on my bike. I cant tell the difference between them

The is a diffference between ilmberger and HP parts, but its so negligible that its live-able. I have Factory badge holders and tank side panels separated by ilmberger frame covers. Visually, they are almost a perfect match. The weaves are identical in shape, pattern, and color. The tilt/angle of how the carbon was layed may be slightly off. To the touch is where it is mostly different and also quite fixable. The clearcoat on the ilmberger frame covers have a slight orange peel to them. A couple of passes of with a polisher and it will match perfectly.....
