I find it interesting that some people expect BMW quality for $100 compared to $570 for the HP part. I think this is really good deal considering I was looking to get a used painted plastic cowl for $200 and painting it myself.. Can't have everything..

But that does not use factory mounting with lock cylinder.. Not what I wanted..

Did you ever purchase one of these, if so, do you know where it mounts to? I have a RACE subframe but wondering if this mounts to where the undertail does. Trying to fab something for the street with this cowl. Thanks for any info on mounting.

I bought one of these in the original post. It mounts to the stock seat location using the factory lock.
