Greggs Customs Flushmounts installed on Bluefire
hello everyone,
I just thought id share what i installed a week ago. I spoke to Roger fr Watsen Designs and he said he will not have his product out till Jan'13 or so... couldn't wait that long & getting really impatient so i pulled the trigger on Greggs. As always, he makes great products so no regrets here! (thanks Gregg) awesome brightness, fitment, and finish! altho they are not painted same as the bike, it doesn't really bother me... (foe now) a little contrast wont hurt cheers!

the brightness is something I love about the watsens and when looking at videos of the greggs it didn't look like they came close in that respect... first hand opinion?

I would jump on the watsens in a heartbeat if they were available as everyone says the same thing as u did but I had greggs on my past bikes and they did me good so im happy... to each their own as they say. who knows, i might get the watsens later on down the line but for now, these flushies puts a smile on this face

Ive been looking for a flush mount alternative to watsens because they do not support 2012 or newer models at this time. How bright are they at night in comparison to stock signals? Whn you spoke with watsen design did they say anything about being able to pre order them and will they be matching factory colors?

On my 2012's I had the blinkers from TecBike which are larger than the flush mounts but fit pretty good and were bright.
On my 2013 I went with Gregg's because I too could not get the Watsens. One thing to remember is that with Gregg's they don't come with resistors so even at $105 you'll need to buy some of those as well. 25 watt, 8 or 10 Ohms work perfectly and prevent a "LAMP!" fault error code from showing up on your display and the blink rate is spot on.
I do think that the fit and finish is top shelf and besides the price and resistors you'll be quite happy. They aren't as bright as Watsens but pretty darn bright. Definitely a 9 out of ten.
I tried taking a couple pictures while she is in the garage. Remember the headlights are on and bouncing light back off the garage door and sunlight around the door. Conditions aren't perfect but hopefully it will give you an idea and help with your questions.

as per Roger, no pre orders & he will color match the paint. if u own a 2012, the lamp error can disappear by setting the lamp to "off" on ur settings. thats all i had to do & lamp code is gone. im sure it'll work on '13s too!

Yeah I know about turning the lamp off, I'm just anal about making sure everything is matched perfectly. You can also take it to the dealer and have them switch the codes so the ECU reads that it is an LED lamp. I just didn't want to go through the trouble.
Picture of them mounted. Hope this helps.
