I was getting ready to order some CF Frame covers from SSR or Ilmberger only to find out, according to Ilmberger that pre 2012 CF Frame covers do NOT fit on 2012 models. Too bad cause I like the look and price of the Sling Shot Racing stuff and have heard good things.

What? The rear subframe has changed substantially in the 2012.

EVERYTHING FROM THE ENGINE BACK WILL NOT FIT THE 2012.

yes the shape of the bodywork and seats has changed a lot but it appears that the mounting holes on the 2012 are the same as the 2011.probably that's what the gooch was trying to say.is there anybody who has done this already so that he can confirm the compatibility of the 2012 tail bodywork on a 2011 s1k?

I can confirm the seats are interchangeable.
My 2012 has a 2011 seat.
(long story).

Sorry, no help on the body work question.
