Just got some new bling for my S1RR fro TJ. Added Cox Radiator/ Oil Guards, Stomp Grips, and CRG RC2's. Thought I'd share...

Interesting. I just started a thread about getting my Cox guards and Akro slip on from TJ asking for pics of anyone who had a colored, (red or blue) oil/rad guard. I'm installing blue Pazzo's with red controls and thought I had ordered black oil and rad guards but got blue ones. I wasn't sure if they would look good on my 2012 motorsport or be a bit too much. They definitely do show up more than I thought. Looks good on your bike but think I'm still on the fence regarding the blue ones on mine.

I've got the blue Cox guards on my 2012 Tri-color and love the way they look. Not too much blue imho, just right....

First off, let me say to ThePainClinic, your bike looks great, sorry I didn't mention that in my first reply. The red add-ons nicely compliment the red at the top of the forks and the "RR" of the S1000RR badging.

To arbiter08, the install is fairly easy, just need to take off the fairings and loosen a bolt or two. The hardest part of the install for me was getting the zip ties to comply with the bends they need to make to secure the top of the radiator guard. I was cussing throughout that part of the process, lol. Otherwise, not bad at all and the finished product looks great and gives you that little extra added protection from rocks, etc.

Yes there were instructions, easy to follow, just need some tiny hands to make those top zip ties fit. Of course your results may vary. You may do the install and think me a total idiot...which may or may not be true, lol.
