I'm sure it's effective. But I've never liked the look of the double bubble. Changes the lines of the bike drastically. I bet the wind is just a memory...lol

I see that angle. No question, the stock WS looks the best. For me, I'm looking for some compromise in form for function. I have many miles of highway to ride to get to the twisties or the track so I needed to take a few steps.

If you track your bike, that screen is a must. Were I, or when I track mine, I'll have to do the same.

How does the ZG Dbl Bbl work compared to stock? Where to order? Many sites only have 2012 fitments.

if you feel extreme wind pressure on your helmet at full tuck with the stock windscreen the double bubble will move the wind up and reduce the helmet bobbling a TON. at least for me it did at ~6'5/195cm. you may tuck better with the stock screen and may not need the full double bubble and a corsa may work, or even stock.

i have only seen a few 2013s on the dealer floor so far, but nothing made me think the fitment is different for the windscreen between 12 and 13. usually it takes vendors a while to update their sites to read the new model years. probably a quick call to the parts guy at your dealer to confirm the stock windscreen part number between 12 and 13 is the same to be 100% safe.

The '12 version of the ZG DB fit my '13 bike no problem. I'm 6'2 and had no issues with the stock windscreen at full tuck. Airflow was perfect there. It was in the normal and semi-tuck riding positions that I was getting beat up above 70 MPH. Made long-distance rides to/from the twisty roads an effort. Now....70 to 120+ is pretty slippery. Cutting right through it.

For comments on the ZB-DB. Looking more for everyday comfort like my other ride. But, I really have a more pressing fiscal priority...radiator and oil cooler guards, Cox perhaps. The oil cooler has few minor dings.

Ok.....so there's more. I grew tired of the DB clear pretty quickly and honestly, the ZG plastic is thin and not edged very well (The OEM windscreen is actually the best quality I think). So ordered the PUIG in light smoke......and just for grins....ordered the frickin' grommets.

Little known fact: new grommets that have never been cinched up....drop in like buttah !! New grommets are gold nuggets.

I tell you the total elapsed time from opening the packages to hanging this thing on my bike was 3 minutes and one of those was the kitchen table photo op.









I'm diggin' the look and the 80 mile ride. Airflow seems about the same as the Double Bubble but the quality of plex is higher, the shape is a little narrower / taller than the DB and the tint looks great.
