..almost done with the mods

just got the bike back after installing the exhaust and PC5. i think im almost done. maybe a little more carbon, a few decals and some HID headlights, but its pretty much there. any thoughts, comments?

-Taylormade GP Exhaust

-Led Integrated Taillight (smoke)
-Double Bubble windshield (smoke)
-R&G no-cut frame sliders
-R&G fork sliders and cotton reel sliders
-Throttlemeister (silver)
-K&N Race Air Filter

Beautiful bike! Seriously sexy!

Thoughts:
stomp grip
carbon hugger or white hugger (just saw a white hugger on another thread and it looks smooth)
engine case savers
remove passenger pegs (unless necessary for passenger)
and of course a few tiny finishing touches like

+1 on the key ring. that's the one I have.
also +1 on the white hugger. I might have to do that on mine.

I have a 2012 Motorsport color. I put a Hot Body White fender hugger on it. It is somewhat longer than the OEM, and looks like it should have been on from the outset. I think it is the best thing I've done.

Hey Jpaul10,

Go to the video section on this forum and look at the video about the cops getting a S1000rr. The cop bike is white (sort of) and has a white fender hugger, which looks very much like, but not identical to a Hot Bodies white fender hugger. This should give you an idea of what your bike would look like with a white hugger.

...i have a set of crg rc shorty levers...blue lever, red clicker. rearsets are on the horizon, but as much for fit as anything else. the guards would be nice too. i think ill do that in the spring. i have a liimited amount of riding time left as its gonna start to get cold here soon and i want to keep the bike out of the shop and out on the road.

i had cross country bmw in metuchen, nj order it directly from taylormade. they make them to order and it took about 2 weeks. it sounds sick!!!. definitely feels a little smoother and more power mid range, although that could be the pc5. interestingly, the bike is running a lot cooler too.

I noticed that my bike is running cooler with a non stock exhaust and PC V. Coincidence? Or is it because the exhaust gasses no longer have to travel through a maze, aka CAT on the OEM exhaust.
