Thanks again guys!!! My buddy has a Red 2015 s1k as well and will be leaving the wheels black and doing the spokes red, I will post up pics when he completes.
I really like the two tone! It's a nice change compared to all white. I am considering doing something to my 2013s wheels also. (motorrad color schemed bike)
I've seen someone with two tone similiar to KTM before. Half the wheel white & other half red.
I had this idea that painting the white panels on the red/white '15 RR gold, and having the wheels painted gold would look totally different (maybe even nauseous...LOL)...but I can't picture it in my mind. Now if I could do Photoshop or something...:grin2:
Yup! Those are to please the local boys in blue, but already had a couple run ins with them and they are pretty cool so reflectors are comin off soon lol
But this works quite well. I think hiding the spokes with blue makes a tremendous difference, and both the blue and white blend in with the bike rather than the typical high contrast which appeals to many. But they will need to be kept scrupulously clean for this to continue to work.
I damaged the front wheel speed sensor somehow when putting the front wheel back on and now the damn ABS won't turn on, but I ordered another sensor and should be here in a week.
If you took the wheel out and knocked it when putting the wheel back that's probably what it will be. See a lot of bikes at dealers with the same problem because they get their tyres fitted at the track or some place where the techs are not as careful and don't see these things when "chucking" the wheel back in.
Check battery terminals-loose connection can do all sorts of wonky things
Make sure rear spacer is in place correctly-don't ask me how I know that one.
When you took the front wheel off , did you only loosen the right side pinch bolts or did both sides get loosened? If both then you need to re-align the front wheel.
Check both sensors-front and rear they should be approx 2mm away from tone ring.
