Which license plate relocation product?

I have a Red 2012 s1rr that's supposed to arrive this week or next. The first thing I want to do is get rid of that god awful fender/license plate holder...what are my options as to aftermarket products? Is there one or two out there that are presumed to be the best quality? I'd like one that retains the same turn signals and requires no drilling.

I took the whole assembly off and drilled 2 holes on the middle outer part of plate and I was done.

I've got the Rizoma license plate support on my bike.
It looks great, is made of carbon fiber and its really well built.

While looking at the Competition Werks standard fender eliminator, I saw the link to the LTD one. Is that thing legal? It looks to have a small illumination light between the turn signals to put some light on the plate -- is that the case?

But then, what would make a fender eliminator not legal? Turn signals too close together?
