Well Damn.....this is amazing !!

I got the kit in about 4 days (over Thanksgiving) from Gotham. Last night, I read the DIY for 15 minutes and went to it.

Step-by-step with patience. No issues whatsoever. Took about 60 minutes from start to all lights lit. I used PIAA Xtreme White bulbs for the running lights. They are 168 T10. Very close color....fine for me...but not quite as white as 6000K.

Everything went just exactly as it's posted in the DIY thread. All lights fired right up without any second guessing or spade swapping.

I'll tell you that I'm SO f**king psyched that I had to post this before securing the wiring and ballasts. (Edit....have now tucked everything in neatly)

It's just arctic white, killer light. I don't know how we lived without this mod.

Just got back from 120 miles through the back roads at night. Raised the low beam about 2" at 10'. The high beam hits just right. It takes about 10 seconds to heat up and shine bright. Then each subsequent flick of the high, it is instant on.

This mod has been the best mod <$500 I've done so far.

Does anyone have pics with the leds in with the hids installed (6k)? Ive also heard bad things about leds falling apart inside the housing. Are there any issues with that with these? Also, is there any spot that these could mount in a place that isnt seen? Last one is there any issue with fitting or faults on an HP4? Thanks and sorry if this has been covered.

You need to be careful with the LED side markers, we tried to provide them and thought we were buying good quality and had to return them all. As far as mounting we carry extension harnesses so if you need to mount them in a spot that might be a little further away we do sell those for $15. There should be no issues with these on any year s1000rr as we have sold the kits for all years.
