Smile Want double bubble screen without the holes, then buy this

I was looking for a double bubble screen but without the original BMW holes in it, Puig and other good screen manufacturers produced very good screens but they simply copied BMW with the holes in the screen except Hot Bodies, but their screen wasn't that higher than the original BMW screen. I contacted these manufacturers but none agreed to produce a special order one without these holes. Finally i found a company that produces a real double bubble screen but without the holes in it FYI Performance Bike magazine found out that during their 202 MPH test with the S1000RR, that covering them, the bike went more than 3 MPH faster at top speed.

So I just bought this screen:

Fabbri racing screen Double Bubble for BMW S 1000 RR | MotoGM

Too bad there is no USA dealer for it until now , the UK dealer customer service sucks badly ( they told me 6 months waiting list for the light smoke i think they wanted to sell their inventory of the dark smoke 1st , and they don't accept PayPal and you must have a UK address for your for your Visa card for your 1st order from them

As I said there is no US dealer for them until now but this there is a Canadian dealer as from the email I received from the factory:

E_mail info@eurocorsa.com

or a very big and reliable seller on line :

I bought mine from http://www.motogm.com/en/fabbri-racing-screen-double-bubble-for-bmw-s-1000-rr/12379
Very reasonable price + shipping fees to Bahrain

www.carpimoto.com quoted me ridiculous shipping price to Bahrain whichmore than the price of the screen itself so i ignored it

I hope one of vendors here start selling these screens soon

What is the point of holes in windscreen, functional or looks?

I got the same question about the rear hugger (2011), why is there a hole?

Since BMW(And most German manufacturers) do things for a reason, there must be one. I would assume that the holes relieve any pressure that might get caught up in front of the bike slowing it down. Thats just my logical reasoning.

As for the rear hugger, its been discussed many times. The reason is there, many people just dont like that answer.

Not sure about the hugger, but according to the product brochure the windscreen holes are supposed to reduce air turbulence from the rider's head.
