Default Taking off the front yellow reflectors

Anyone who has done it have tips on how to remove the front yellow reflectors on the front wheel? I can't imagine someone next to me seeing these in the dark and not the blue glow from the bike and broadside me b/c I don't have these on...

Any tips?

+1--it's just held on by adhesive....

Or you could just get a set of Ohlins forks?

Heat it up with a blow dryer and then pull it off. You won't need as much adhesive remover.

The blowdryer for about 2 minutes on each one worked well. I just did that and they proceeded to rip them off. Scratched off the adhesive with my thumb nail and used Goo-Gone to wipe down each side. It looks great!

Pop of the bicycle reflectors and use a little spray brake cleaner on a rag. Took 45 seconds.

Charlie,

The OP was speaking of the reflectors on the sides, specifically the orange ones on the forks. You're good to go in SoCal in removing them (legality wise). The red, as you say must stay.

Btw, OP. thanks for the tips! I'll be removing mine soon.
