Question to R&G case saver owners
Just would like to ask those of you who currently has R&G case savers on their bike, how are they? I mean temperature wise, do they really withstand those temps when engine is hot? I already have the set but hesitate to install...
Will appreciate any input (even better with pics)...
P.S. I like R&G products, have their frame sliders, bar ends, frame inserts, cotton reels, fork sliders, tail tidy, passenger pegs block offs and never had a problem with any of those products, but with these ones I'm not quite sure...

I've had them on mine for the last 3500 miles and they're still structurally and cosmetically almost the same as they were in the box. I say almost because the R&G resin badge has come off the clutch cover. It's only a sticker so there's no plinth for it left on the cover so you don't notice it. Other than that they're perfect.

I will suggest making SURE the black plastic offset's are inplace on the case covers and check the torque spec fairly often. I was getting a small quantitiy oil leaking out of the bolt holes. Fixed it with some blue locktite.
That being said, during 80mph get-off, one of the case covers did get burned all the way through. The other side (after it flipped) wasn't to bad in itself.
They were decent IMHO.

My bike came from the dealership with them installed. The bike was a demo bike and has 3500 miles on it. The only problem I have had is the left side cover was leaking some oil at the bottom due to the screws being loose. I tightened them up and it is fine now. Just check the screws every so often.

There case protectors are great I have them on my zx10 race bike took a 115 mph lowside with out a glitch
BUT frame sliders are IMHO junk and should never get put on any bike all any of them do is cause frame and motor mount damage.
