If Texas is anything like Massachusetts, they hammer you for anything they can. The Yoshi fender elim kit works perfect for me. Uses stock turn signals and it has 4 LED lights to keep ur plate lit at nite. Nothing anything LEO's can say to you.

What is the law down there?

Evoluzione is good as well. Uses stock signals and stock lighting, and there is no cutting involed. And they look great.

This is what I found for the state of Texas:

Transportation Code Sec. 547.322(f)(2):

(1) illuminates the rear license plate; and
(2) makes the plate clearly legible at a distance of 50 ft. from the rear.

That's all that it has. I guess you can use this to make the decision as to what fender kit you wanna use. Hope I helped some. Sorry if I didn't.

Usually there is some turn signal requirements and plate lights too... something like 9" apart or something in many states?

Texas isn't exactly clear on their bike plate requirements. The riders are essentially at the mercy of the staties. Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas are infamous for picking on sport bike riders.

This is all I could find on this. With that said, what do you guys recommend for changing the fender / the front turn signals that could still fall in line with being street legal.

There are posts about this but the info is scattered. In order to have this be street legal, you would need to make sure the license plate is still visible and lit up, but in Texas you have to show your inspection sticker right by the license plate as well.

Is this not feasible for you? This is the yoshi kit. As far as the front signals? I'm not touching mine so I really don't have any input, sorry bro.

New Mexico is quite lenient unless you're doing something stupid already. However, we ride up in Colorado and they can be a bit stringent.

This is basically what I did. This used my own bracket (simple make), Comp Werkes license plate light, and Watsen Design flush mount turn signals (best out there).

Fender Eliminator kits for the S1KRR

My guess is this would pass in most states.
