Default LAMP! with Competition Werkes FE Fixed!!!!

I recently installed a Competition Werkes fender eliminator and I now have a LAMP! light. I did not use the wire connectors that were supplied with the kit but instead used some blade connectors instead. Could this be the problem why I'm getting the LAMP! light? Thanks in advance.

unless they have changed something recently, it's a known issue with CW fender eliminators. They do not have the resistors in place to supply resistance for the CanBus system on the Bimmer.

By any chance would you know what resistor I would need to add?

I only know what Watsen design requires to make their LED's work, which is 4.3 ohm 2V. I am not sure what other resistors would work with the Comp Werks.

Turns out the signals were just the wrong resistance. Called Competition Werkes and they sent me new signals. No more LAMP! light.
