matching factory paint

I remember reading somewhere on these forums that people were having a hard time matching the factory paint. I just got the race cover kit and will be taking it to my friends body shop and wanted to know if this was a problem and if there was anything I should be recommending to my friend. Any paint codes or type of paint?

I have had no success in finding matches for any of the paints, even through three dealers. Strange, because chips on painted swing-arms, etc. are natural. BMW cars have all the touch-up colors. Anybody solved this mystery?

I know Colorrite has some. I used with with my old CBR and worked out very well
