Default Best frame sliders, swingarm spools, etc...

Hey everyone. After doing some research I decided to ask you guys about the best parts for my '11 s1000rr. Im looking for performance and looks, price isnt really anything to worry about. I see that woodcraft makes a lot of high quality parts that do look good but hear that their frame sliders require you to cut the right side fairing. That is out of the question for me. The parts im looking for are frame sliders, swingarm spools, fork sliders, and engine case covers. Post some pics if possible..thanks!!

I've got Pitbull spools and they look good and feel solid. I'll hopefully never know how they protect, but they work on getting the bike on the Pitbull front facing rear stand.

Lots of good equipment out there. It's still such a relatively small industry, so cr@p equipment doesn't survive long; word gets out fast! Chances are whatever you choose will perform adequately.

Imo, you cannot go wrong with Woodcraft. If I were going to buy from only one accessory manufacturer, that would be the one.

I went with Motovation frame and fork sliders (Motovation Frame Sliders, Swingarm Sliders, Arrow, Akrapovic and Leo Vince Exhausts and Rizoma Accessories) and GB Racing (got 'em from TJ and Rider's Discount) for the case covers. I'll get some pics tomorrow and post them up.

After a low side my Yoshimuras protected my bike. Not a scratch. Plus I dig
the classic look.

I have tested mine out and have posted pictures. As a bonus when you review my thread you will also see how my gloves held up

Tested out Knox Handriods, LSL frame/axel sliders and GB racing cover

Except for engine case savers all my crash protection is R&G. I went with GBRacing case savers as I liked the looks better and TJ at Riders Discount had great pricing on them.

I've got Alder Enterprises protectors on mine. They are a small local compny specialising in BMW parts. I've always usad R&G in the past but these seem a nicer product and very well made. I've got bobbins, front axel slider, rear axel nut slider and paddock stand bobbins.

thanks everyone for all the feedback!

@wild pete: stuff looks great and held up even better! In the past i have had experiences where the frame slider bolt snaps and side fairings get almost ripped off. This happened twice so its not just a one time thing. Its good to know that what I have will hold up under pressure. But did you have to cut anything to install these? Did this happen at a track day?

@dieselpower: Parts look nice but how do they hold up when they smash against the asphalt?
