I've not done it but I've thought about wrapping the bellypan. Are you looking to wrap the whole bike? If so, what are you thinking of doing?

It's like a big vinyl decal which covers body panels to look like a paint job. Do a search on Google for 'vinyl wrap' and you'll see a few examples. Some can look good and others don't. It depend on what effect you're trying to get and as with a paint job, how much money you want to spend.
I've never seen a whole bike which has been wrapped. I can imagine that the tank would be a complete barsteward to get right.

I've seen it done on race plastics with good results. I'm interested for future race plastics. Please post results.

Use 3M vinyl & tell the vendor its for wrapping purposes so you'll get the ultra thin (shape conforming) variety. Use anything but 3M don't come back here complaining!
