Default LightTech sliders insulator painting

Anybody using LightTech frame sliders? I purchased these a while ago and the rubber "absorber" they come with is white by default.I didn't want to purchase a different color at $16 a piece plus shipping.I was thinking of painting them via spray can.Anyone do this already?

I guess you can... since only the outside rim shows... I'm sure it wouldn't be a huge issue.
I just ordered the red one and I found that the stock white is more "absorbent" that the red one i received (harder in texture)

Yeah just not sure what paint to use as I know it'll need to be slightly flexible to avoid cracking off.
