Default My "essential" mods

I know everybody is different, but maybe listing my mods helps somebody to figure out some possible changes to the RR.
And of course it is a great way to show off my bike which I picked up from the dealer about a month ago.
So here is the list, and then - of course - the living proof...

- HID headlight
- 2 bright white LEDs for running/parking lights to match the HID light ( HID headlights )
- Weiser LED turn signal inserts
- high tinted BMW screen
- Carbon Fiber for left and right tank side panels and badge holders (to get rid of the cheap looking plastic), and rear hugger/chain guard (one piece), all by Ilmberger from Hardracing
- blacked out BMW emblems (only the blue parts)
- D3 tidy tail which uses original license plate light (from England) ( undertails )
- custom license plate "S1RR"
- Wunderlich side stand enlarger, for the comfort to park safely even on soft ground (have one on my GS for years)
- Zumo GPS bracket installed with (switching Zumo between RR and GS)
- Driven Superbike (SBK) Gel grips, for much more comfort for my wrists and palms ( Changing Out Grips )

Beautiful bike! Have you had any issues with Ilmberger Carbon fiber pieces?

No issues with the parts themselves. They seem to be great quality and were a 100% perfect fit.
The only issue I had is that packaging was not ideal. Two pieces rubbed against each other with sharp edges, so I had two pieces scratched up. Could buff out most of it myself, not perfect, but o.k. Hardracing said they did not send the parts from their Headquarter, but a distributor. However, they took full responsibility, offered exchange and an even bigger discount for future purchases. It was my choice not to exchange them, because I wanted to install them badly that same day.
Assuming that shipping issues like this are rare, I will definitely recommend buying Ilmberger, and buying from Hardracing, because of their unbeatable prices.

There you go.
Welcome to bavauto.com | Emblem Cover Decal Set - includes Hood/Trunk/Wheel/Steering Wheel Emblem Covers

I have done this on my BMW bikes and cars, so I did the RR with "leftovers". However, if you find a glossy black sticker somewhere, you can just cut out the pieces. It may take a couple of attempts, but it works too. Believe me, I know...

Default Her big sister, and ... the bank...

Just a couple more...

First is a picture with her big sister.

Second: I am so glad I was able to buy her before my bank collapsed...

I am in a great mood. This was a wonderful riding weekend!
