Default started sorting the bike out..

well after my lttle 15mph spill i started sorting the minor repairs out to it,got a new bar end and new left side casing waiting to be picked up from the dealers and fitted the new left side fairing off ebay for a bargain price aswell, fitted the puig DB screen and stripped down the rear seat unit for some minor paint work and the watsen turn signals, got a new quick shofter off ebay also at a silly bargain price aswell and i'll refit the stock rear sets some time this week, repair bill is under £450 so im well happy with that,i could of done it cheaper but i wanted to fit a new casing as i could repair the old one but i cant be bothered lol, next on the shopping list is some white R+G crash bungs and some GB racing engine covers, got the D3 components tail tidy waiting to be refitted and the R+G rad and oil cooler gaurds ready to go on aswell this week, going to give the tec bike cat cover a new lick of paint aswell so i got to get to B+Q and get some of their heat prrof barbeque black paint or i'll use the heat prrof paint i got up the garage if my mate can get his compressor working this week....another 4-5 weeks on the crutches and i'll get her up to 600 miles and get her serviced and fit the slick mode switch in her ready for the lunacy to begin when the weather is nice and warm....

BRAND NEW LEFT SIDE FAIRING £140 DELIVERED......BARGAIN..!!!!

BUzz...

I have to give you major thumbs up for your sheer persistence in the face of adversity.. The Welsh always were stubborn buggers, much like my bunch, the Scots...

Glad you are healing and thinking about how you are going to get back on the BMW. After my crash (5 broken ribs at the spine, broken left wrist, punctured left lung, dislocated elbow, broken left collar bone) it took me 2 months to get back on the Bike again.. Everyone that knows me thought I was utterly bonkers, but I wanted to prove a point.. Stubborn doesn't even come close.

I have the R&G aero crash bungs as well as their axle spools etc and they seem very solid and well made. I thought about the AC Schnitzer stuff as well for a more "techno" look, but the R&G seem to be more solid..

Cheers mate.

Picked up some white R+G crash bungs for the s1krr and collected the new casing, from my local dealers and after finding out what had happened to me over the last 7 months gave me extra 5 percent discount on the bits i ordered, still waiting on the seat unit to come back from the paint shop as they are having trouble matching the paint..??? so either tonight or tomorrow ill be back up the garage fitting all the parts and the watsen turn signals arrived just in time, going to look around now for some new rearsets as these hp ones are crap as bmw wont sell the spare parts seperately so whats the point of having them..???? also some one tell ASV to get off their arse and make some levers for the s1krr aswell....taa

And is that a scuff i see on the nearside swing arm
