Default BMW Logo Change

I'm not a current owner of a S1KRR but I'd like to be very soon...

I wanted to see if anyone has seen or knows of this, and if it would work. When I get my S I'm going for a black and white everything, I love the contrast. I saw these on an M Coupe the other day and loved it, do you think it would work for the S?

Sure, you can roll 'em up and stuff them inside the axles.

You're such a pretentious jerk it's not even funny, I've read several hundred posts today, many of yours included, and you're the most negative dramatic little girl. Please give me a really long heated reply so everyone can laugh at you, I'm sure the moderators you piss off on a consistent basis will get a kick out of it, how sad that this is my first post on this forum.

Oh, you want them for the *fairings*?? No, they won't work - 65mm is over 2 1/2" inches, much too big even if the originals come off.

And yes, it was pretty sad that was your first post.

Ok, so they're too big. Has this ever been done before then?

About the only thing I recall someone doing or thinking about doing was taking the BMW roundels from a Z3/Z4 that are used as turn signal indicators on the cars... and putting them in place of the roundels on their bike. It's on the forum somewhere, just have to search for it.

I changed mine to red/black. Bavarian Autosport BMW Parts and BMW Accessories | Bavarian Autosport
sells stick on vinyl decals to change the color. Not sure any are the right size so I did it myself. Look at my garage pic or the post in this thread:

Wow, that's exactly what I was looking for, I saw a black and red one on a 325i today and it looks pretty similar. Does it stick up from the logo very much?

As much as any decal would, you have to look really close to see it. It's not a one piece decal or a replacement roundel. I cut 4 wedge shaped decals, which is similar to what Bav Auto sells. Again, not sure if they have any the right size. You could probably email or call and talk to someone there to get exact measurements (and which part of the roundel they get the diameter measurements from).
