undertails

hi folks

wondering if anyone can tell me which undertail would fit the best and with the least troubles...

competition werks or hotbodies.... or some other that I have yet to find?

Also, if there is any extra bits required to make it work, ie wire harness, etc.

Are you talking a complete undertail or are you talking specifically about a fender eliminator?

D3 for me mate absolutely kicks everything iv seen.....

I did my own custom plate mount that mimics Comp Werkes.

Cost me under $20 w/out the signals. I simply purchased some Aluminum angle from the hardware store (cheap) like what's shown below. Then I called Comp Werkes and ordered their little LED plate light (~$12) and just drilled some holes in the Aluminum, reused the rubber grommets from the stock mount and was done. I used the Watsen Design flush mount signals in the rear so that was the most expensive part.

I did the exact same thing, just painted the aluminum flat black as I have the TG, and I got the bike monkey intergrated tail light instead of the Watsen rears.

Thanks for the responses. I did not know about EVOLUZIONE or D3 will have to go look in to them. As for the rest, yes I was interested in the full undertail. That custom plate mod looks much better.

My problem is that I liked the signals on the hotbodies, but not the plate mount. I liked the reverse on the competition werks. lol

I've heard through the grapevine that the hotbodies one is a bit of a chore to get it to fit well.

d3 for me too takes about 20 minutes at a push only one wire to cut cost about £ 45.00 comes in black or white

D3 Component's Extreme Tail Tidy is super sweet. Looks great. Easy to install. Darren, there, seems like a good guy too. Not to mention, the D3, IMHO, looks as good or probably better than anything else out there currently.
