CRG Levers (beware)
I just spent two hours putting on the CRG levers and that clutch switch is definitely a headache to deal with. Ended up having to put a couple slices of electrical tape on the lever's bit that depresses the switch. I dont know if i got a bad batch or what, but there wasn't enough contact to trip the switch when the clutch is disengaged. I guess thats what i should expect from a product made in California
has anyone else had any experience with this company before I keep trashing them without cause?

I've had mine since May, 2010 and they installed fine, function great, look great... no problems. Plenty others on the site have installed CRGs as well back last summer. If you do a search you can pull some of them up. In general, there has been some installs that were very successful (with any lever, not just CRGs) and some that didn't go as well due to the clutch relay/button/switch thing. Mine went in fine... maybe I just got lucky, don't know.

Installed the CRG clutch lever many months ago, easily done and since they machine the lever to have the ramp which engages the spring switch, no adjustments other than the cable slack to do either. Excellent piece of gear for me.

I've had my levers on for about 4 months with no issues. Multiple track days and quick shifts with no problems. Just a thought.. did you accidently bend the tab when you were taking the stockers off..

I didn't have any problems at all. If I didn't screw it up nobody should . I don't have the CRG, I have AR levers. I have the newer style switch with the black plastic piece that goes under the lever. I took a pic of that when I took it off the bike. The little black lever sticks out past the lever just a smidge to press that metal switch.

Easy install. Removed the tiny clutch switch from the stock unit to the CGR's and to my surprise, it worked perfectly.

i got some coming in the mail...and I'm new to doing mechanical things, but will be installing myself. I'll let you know. I was disappointed when I read the title of this thread, but like the responses...we'll see.

I just put my CRG's on last weekend. Didn't have to move anything from the old levers except bushing in clutch lever. Everything worked fine and I love them! Made in California is better than made in CHINA

Mine have been on since last spring, not a problem but mine are red and I'm sure the red ones work better.

Two hours for CRG levers? You, my friend, or not technically inclined. I put both of my levers on in about 30 mins and they work great. As in anything else, I never get rid of the stock stuff. You never know when you may go down or something doesn't work right and you can always use them ass a fall back
