Default Which Rearsets and Why?

My next purchase will be some rear sets.

I have not decided which ones yet, and so would like your opinions.

Have you fitted some to your bike, what make, why and are you happy with them. Good points, bad points etc.

TIA

I like the LSL since they have vertical and horizontal adjustment. They also have a "clean" look which I was after with this bike. Pegs have good grip and nice adjustment.

The LSLs look very nice... they weren't around when I was looking into rearsets. I've got Gilles on mine and have no complaints what so ever. They are of great quality and have plenty of adjustability. When you buy them you have to decide if you want a GP Shift or Standard Shift. I was also looking at the Attacks. They have a very aggressive knurl pattern on the pegs. So if you want max grip - they're pretty impressive. I've been told that they are aggressive enough to wear on your riding boots a bit. They also have the ability to switch between GP Shift and Standard Shift w/out buying anything in addition. On my Track Bike (R6) I run the Vortex with a lot of adjustment.

That's my $.02.

Do the lsl allow normal and race shift?

Does anyone know if the shift rod runs through the same frame hole as standard with road or reverse shift?

Thanks

On the Attacks, I believe you just flip the linkage around a little bit on the end of the shifter... and use the same hole in the frame for the actual shift rod w/sensor.

Thanks, I think I may rule the attacks out due to the aggressive nature on the boots.

Vortex look to have most things I want but only available in black

Yes, and you have to also choose GP vs. normal shifting.
