That's great!! You'll show up better than the Goldwings with the lights spread out over their rear upper case! Best sportbike turn display I've seen. With both sets of lights on the rear drawing current, you don't have an error issue?

Led's with resistors... seems fine so far Bike Monkey was spot on as they said (maybe slightly dimmer then OEM (which is OMFG bright)) and Watsens which are superb manufacturing and work JUST as advertised

How did you install both the tail light and the watsen LED's? I was debating if I should get the integrated or the Watsen's and opted to get the Watsen's, but now that I see this, how did you get both to work? Isn't it one wire to each turn signal?

The bike monkey tail light has one single wire for left blinker and a single wire for the right blinker (the ground is integrated into the wiring harness).

I removed the stock signals, pulled back both pairs of wires going to each left and right side.

I connected the positive (Blue) from the bike to the watsens positive AND the bike monkey single positive wire. I then connected the Negative (brown on the bike) to the Watsens only. Again, the Bike monkey tail-light does not need a ground attached to it's blinker's as it is integrated into the "stock" harness they have.

Hope that helps a bit.

***Caution*** when doing the tests, I did not notice any display issues what so ever. Today took the bike out for a spin and WAS getting the LAMP! error. Disconnected the Watsen's and the error stayed out. I am looking into what is going on with this. There may be to much resistance, causing the error.

Untill I figgure out what's going on, beware on doing this with yours also..

Also talking with the service manager, he'd be willing to turn on the indicator over-ride with a waiver signed that I understand I will not have any indication that a light is burned out (for the blinkers). I am going to attempt to figure this out though.

That's what I was going to suggest as I'm going to do that to make track days less of a hassle. Interesting your shop wants a signed waiver, but I suppose in our litigious society it pays to be safe. It seems to me the LAMP! failure display is overkill anyway. How difficult is it to check before a ride.... we've been doing it for all our other bikes.

I have installed the tail light and am waiting for the Watson's. Holy #@$% are they every bright!

I would like to know the outcome of your LAMP issue so that I can avoid it.

.. one or the other it seems, without some fancy componite re-arranging. Even Roger (watsen design) recommended one or the other. If you don't mind somewhat faster flash rates, you can still install them as I wrote above and have the BMW dealer deactivate the Lamp error (as how racers have it).

Alas, was (mostly) a failure, but looked kitchy.
