Default Headlight modulator (dimmer): Kisan, Signal Dynamics, Kriss or something else?

If you happen to deal with any modulator, which one would you recommend? Any problems installing one specifically on the s1000rr?

Thank you!

Anyone? I planning on installing one as well, just concerned about the LAMP error...

I have a Kisan fitted to mine....didn't work at first and I had to contact their engineering department and straighten them out on how the bike was set up...they took it back and rewired it and sent it back to me and it has worked perfectly ever since.

I feel a bit naked riding in areas with a lot of cross traffic without it on - but never take chances, always know that cage drivers DO NOT SEE YOU until you are sliding across their hood!

Fit some 8 or 10,000k HID's (colours above white are a lot more noticeable) and everyone will see you coming.

Thanks for the feedback, I will get the Kisan. Did they have the "Z" version that they offer now at the time you placed your order? I'd like to avoid sending it back if i can...

Yes they had the Z option, but BMW swapped a couple of wires on the headlamp connector and Kisan did not know it....As far as I know, they now produce it for our bikes with the wires swapped and it works fine. Just make sure you call the order in and make sure you tell them it is for the S1000rr not just any old Canbus system bike.

Good luck...

I'm a little confused which Kisan works with our bike (I hear great reviews on Kisan). Here is the page that lists a number of different options...which one have you had success with (I too would like to avoid the swapping out and sending back routine)?

I am not sure I can give you a real answer as I am not sure what I ended up with...Just give them a call and they will steer you in the right direction.
