Default Passenger Peg Height Change?

Well i have seen some and heard some complaints about the comfort from passengers on the RR. I took a measurment of about 15" from top of passenger peg open to top of seat. My old zx10r was about 20" and my buddies Duc street fighter is about 17".
I think i can drop the pegs down around 3 to maybe 4" before i get worried about there feet to the exhaust pipe.
I am going to a friends machine shop after the new years and go over a few ideas with him to see the best route and price of building a whole new bracket. One of my questions is if this turns out good and priced right how many people may be interested in getting a set made? I dont have much detail yet but figured i would get the ball rolling.
I dont ride a ton with passengers but when i do i like to make sure they are comfortable and my girl wasnt to comfortable on long rides after the switch and i talked about measuring and making a new bracket back in July when i bought the bike, but time flys and what better time than the winter to work on it. 5" is alot when her knees are in her face lol.
The attached pic is my old zx that i used as a ref. for the measurment. needed to post on a kawi forum cause i never measured till this week.

S1R and passengers don't get along. My wife will not ride on it at all.

while my wife rode on the back of my RC51 a few times for up to a couple hundred miles at a time, she isnt gonna ride on the S1RR, thats why we have the 08 K12GT, IMHO the ultimate in 2 up sporty bikes
