Engine case covers/protectors

Ok, got the woodcraft engine case covers and they came in the mail, I opened the box.......and they're blackish/purple-ish. ugh. i've read of yoshi turning purple, but i wonder if that's how they come and if it's lighting. Been cloudy and crappy but i pray they're not purple in the sun. Maybe they're using some weird primer or something??

will post pics soon, maybe it's the only way to make it temp resistant?

Get R&G ones, they are black, don't change color, and bike looks way better... I will put link to my post once I get to my computer.
