Default DIY tidy tail

Hi and I thought I'd share my need to modify my brand new 2011. I didn't feel like buying a tidy tail when almost everything you need is provided with a little effort.

Made a plate bracket from some aluminum

Cut a slot in one of the spacers for the plate light

Added a vacuum cap to cover the end.

Added an LED (and 1.5K ohms) to the stock harness, it's not real bright. I don't want much light anyway...

The temp plate is bigger than the actual plate so it should cover most of it well

Once my integrated tail comes in, I'm adding the stock harness to that so everything will appear stockish. Also dropped 688g.

Enjoy.
