LighTech Gas Caps for BMW S1000RR

LighTech gas caps for the S1000RR are available in two styles: keyless or quick-release and both are lighter and better looking than the OEM unit too! Precision CNC-machined from ERGAL aluminum (7xxx series), the fit and finish of a LighTech gas cap for the BMW is excellent and mates perfectly with the aluminum gas tank’s plumbing for leak-free performance.

All LighTech gas caps come with simple instructions and all the required installation hardware. The BMW fuel cap shown here is of the quick-release variety.

Twist-off keyless gas caps are also available.

Every S1000RR LighTech gas cap comes with three primary components: the base mount on the right, the cap and the spigot cap at the top of the photo.

The tube on the base cap mount that’s sticking up on the right is for the fuel tank breather. This is used so fuel does not splatter all over when adding gas.

The lower portion of the spigot features a rubber O-ring for a perfect seal.

Machining is of the highest quality.

For the serious track rider that wants the low-profile of the spin-off gas cap, a special tool (sold separately) is available for tightly fitting the gas cap in place.
