Default Oetiker Stepless Hose Clamp Kit by Motion Pro

Now you can install the same hose clamps on your bike that are used by factory teams all over the world - Oetiker Stepless Hose Clamps. Race teams, and even some OEMs, use these clamps because they’re more reliable and stand up better to heat and vibration than conventional screw-type clamps. Top race teams like Factory Yamaha and Yoshimura Suzuki have been using them for years to eliminate engine failures and other damage due to conventional screw-type coolant hoses coming loose. Each one-time use stainless steel clamp wraps completely around the hose it is attached to with no gaps in the seal providing a water-tight barrier with even pressure all around making it nearly impossible for the clamp to come off and induce leakage. The clamps themselves are lightweight and easy to install with the optional crimp tool. The same tool can be used for removing each clamp with ease when it’s time to service your bike.

Oetiker’s patented clamp design uses specially formed edges to avoid damaging hoses while providing a sure clasp that easily withstands the heat and vibration expected in a racing engine environment. Their low-profile design is easier to use in tightly-packed spaces where you may have a hard time with a screwdriver. And because each clamp is designed for a specific hose diameter, over-tightening and damaging hoses is virtually eliminated. Each Motion Pro Stepless Hose Clamp kit comes in a plastic case with separate wells for each individual size as well as a legend for helping users determine which clamp is appropriate for the job.

Two different versions of this kit are available for specific applications. Fuel line kits include 70 clamps for hoses ranging from 7.8mm to 18mm in diameter while the coolant clamp kit includes 85 clamps for hoses ranging from 17mm – 45mm.

These kits are priced as follows:
Fuel Line Clamp Kit with 5mm wide bands and crimp tool - $100
Coolant Line Clamp Kit with 9mm wide bands:
With sidejaw crimp tool - $100
W/O crimp tool - $90

If you’re serious about building a reliable bike, then you need this clamp kit!

These are not available on our website. To get yours, call TJ at 866.931.6644 ext 817. You can also submit your questions to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM with OETIKER STEPLESS CLAMP in the subject line. As always, shipping is FREE to any address in the lower 48 states.

Every Motion Pro Stepless Clamp kit comes in a plastic case with separate bins for each different clamp size. A corresponding legend on the upper lid is your guide for determining which clamp is right for your application.

Two different clamping tools are available; we recommend the sidejaw clamp tool on the left since it offers greater versatility in tight spaces for securing Oetiker clamps. These tools can also be used for quickly removing a stepless clamp when needed.

Here you can see a conventional hose clamp below an Oetiker hose clamp. Notice the extra material needed for the worm gear housing. As the conventional clamp is tightened, this housing can dig into the hose and possibly damage it. Conversely, the Oetiker clamp does not have any of this and all edges are smooth so as not to cut the hose when it is tightened. This patented design is much safer for the hose itself and much less likely to fail. These facts make Oetiker clamps a favorite of race teams around the world.

We use these very same kits on our own bikes like this Yamaha YZF-R1 AMA Superbike. They’re reliable, easy to install and they won’t damage silicone hose kits.
