Default Power Commander V Kits $265 Shipped to Your Door!

Riders Discount now has Power Commander V kits in stock and ready to ship at the low price of $265 with free shipping to any address in the lower 48 states. You can order yours today by calling TJ at 866.931.6644 ext 817 or simply send an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM with BEST PRICE ON POWER COMMANDER V in the subject line along with the year and model of the motorcycle you’re riding and we’ll get back to you right away.

Every Dynojet Power Commander Five comes with detailed, model-specific installation instructions along with all the necessary supplies to install it on your motorcycle. Many applications have maps available on the Dynojet website for various levels of tuning, making installation a snap without requiring an immediate trip to the dyno just to get started.

OEM-specific cables are included with each kit, minimizing the need to splice or otherwise permanently modify the wire loom. These connectors perfectly match up to those on your motorcycle and therefore, are waterproof and reliable.

Where required, the Dynojet PC-V kit will come with an O2 optimizer to prevent any ECU error codes from robbing your motorcycle of its maximum potential power.

We also have quick shifter sensors in stock and ready to go. These are perfect for getting maximum acceleration from your motorcycle off the line or off the corner by allowing full-throttle clutch-less upshifts. No serious racer goes to the line without a quick shifter and neither should you!

For those that demand maximum performance from their motorcycles, every Dynojet PC-V features a row of accessory inputs on the top side of the unit. Here, inputs for a map select switch, quick shifter, speed sensor, an analog input and a crank sensor are provided. These inputs allow the user to not only add separate functions like the map switch and quick shifter, but also allow fueling adjustments to be made based upon inputs from speed and other variables to adjust engine performance based upon predefined conditions.

A pair of expansion ports allow the direct plug-in of other optional Dynojet accessories like their color LCD kit or an Autotune device. Both of these tools help riders to better setup their Power Commanders no matter the environmental conditions or when the fuel used to tune the bike is not available. In this way, these variables can be eliminated from reducing maximum power output.

We also have on hand Dynojet AutoTune kits for your motorcycle. We’ll throw it in for an additional $205 when you order a PC-V!

Please assume that I'm a nuff nuff, I know a number of people that use PCV, I'm not sure exactly what they do and how they differ to the electronics that are inherent to the bike, why do I need one of these?

Basically, it's a digital version of a jet kit, only it's significantly more flexible in the way it can control fuel delivery to the combustion chamber. The system plugs-in between the ECU and the BMW's lower fuel injectors and modifies the signal according to whatever fuel map you have installed. And while the BMW is already a horsepower monster, a PC-V tuned by a competent dyno operator can yield additional power and improved throttle response, even on a completely stock motorcycle.

This system is especially useful for making fuel adjustments for bikes that have aftermarket parts installed like an exhaust, air filter or velocity stacks - items that can produce a significant change in the way gases flow in and out of the engine. This is because at best, the OEM ECU is only capable of dealing with these changes in a very limited manner and will most likely deliver fuel in a way that's less than ideal. In worse cases, poor throttle response, lurching and a noticeable reduction in power output will occur. Again, this is where a Power Commander comes in handy as it can be programmed to eliminate these issues. With a properly programmed PC-V, you'll get a bike that runs better, makes more power and is ultimately more enjoyable to ride.

Cheers for that,
so will I need to dyno the bike after fitting?

Depending on your elevation there are many maps available for the BMW already. You can also look at picking up the Auto-Tune which will monitor the Air/Fuel ratio and suggest a map for you.

Any package deal price for the PCV, SFM, and quick-shift? The QS would be for a 05 GSXR600 (pull type sensor, as mine is GP shift)
