Default BMW S1000RR Gilles Tooling TCA Chain Adjusters

Now you don’t have to worry about a misaligned rear wheel on your motorcycle with Gilles Tooling TCA Chain Adjusters. These devices replace the OEM axle blocks on your BMW with precision machined adjusters that mount solidly in place with captive axle blocks that won’t fall out every time you take the rear wheel off. The advantages of this design are many. Most importantly, you will know precisely how the rear wheel is lined up with the alignment marks that are machined into each Gilles chain adjuster. From a convenience standpoint, there’s no more need to fuss with axle blocks when re-installing the rear wheel. Correct chain tension too, is easily maintained because the sliding axle holes are attached to a geared shaft that won’t move unless you use the included Allen key to make changes in chain slack. In addition to the chain tensioning function, Gilles TCA chain adjusters can be ordered with optional paddock stand lift attachments and/or swingarm sliders that bolt into place for added convenience and protection.

Gilles Tooling aftermarket motorcycle parts are not yet available on our website. To order a set of Gilles BMW chain adjusters, call TJ at 866.931.6644 ext 817. You can also email us, send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM with GILLES S1000RR CHAIN ADJUSTERS in the subject line and we’ll get back to you right away.

Gilles TCA (Transmission Chain Adjusters) are available in black, gold or titanium colors for the S1000RR.

Gilles Tooling also includes an Allen key for adjusting rear axle block position.

Unlike the previous KTS chain adjusters, the TCA blocks move as a single unit, spinning the Allen key engages a worm gear that repositions the adjuster block with each twist of the wrist.

TCA adjuster blocks in gold. The black plugs seen on the rear of each unit are for the addition of either, the optional paddock stand lifters, the crash pads or both.

Here, you can clearly see the housing for the adjuster block’s gear mechanism on the back of the unit.

Titanium-anodized Gilles chain adjuster blocks.

Hash marks are clearly visible on each adjuster block. And Gilles also includes stickers for re-aligning the marks on the BMW’s swingarm if you happen to notice yours are slightly off plumb.

Default Gilles Chain Adjuster Accessories

Here's the slider pad. It attaches at the back of the adjusters.

As does the lifters. We have GSX-R600 here in the shop that uses these.
