Default K&N BMW S1000RR Air Filters

RidersDiscount.com now has K&N air filters for the BMW S1000RR. There are two ways you can easily increase the output of your motorcycle’s engine: increase the amount of air that gets in and make it easier to get that same (though really hot) air out. We have everything you need to make getting air in easier while keeping dirt and other debris out with K&N air filters.

K&N Engineering is a family owned business that’s been around for more than 35 years. During that time, they’ve created a filter that’s become a must-have for anyone looking to increase engine performance. K&N replacement filters have a lifetime warranty and come out of the box ready to go. No cutting or hacking at your OEM airbox required, just pull out the old filter, insert the pre-oiled K&N filter element, bolt everything back together and you’re ready to go.

These are not yet available on our website; call TJ at 866.931.6644 ext 817 to get the K&N filter you need. You can also send us an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM with S1000RR K&N AIR FITLER in the subject line and we’ll get back to you right away.

The K&N air filter for the BMW S1000RR.

Default Air Filter Maintenance and Replacement

Have you taken a look inside your motorcycle's airbox lately? Now that we're more than halfway through the riding season (in the northern part of the country, anyway!), miles' worth of crud has made its way into the airbox. We've found everything from insects and leaves to road rubber, sand and even small stones in our bikes' air filters. And that's just what you can easily see! Upon closer examination, you'll find that there's smaller debris stuck in the filter element, especially in the crevices and around the edges, all of which is detrimental to engine performance.

Now, for those of you that have already upgraded with a K & N aftermarket air filter, we can supply a K & N filter cleaning kit so you can easily replenish your filter for like-new performance. Those of you with an OEM air filter, now is the time to upgrade. We have K & N filters available for just about every make and model, call us today and we'll get you a brand new K&N air filter shipped out fast!

If you are running a PC or Bazzaz with exhaust the race filter will be a better choice. If you are running the bike closer to stock stick with the street filter.

I'm I correct in assuming that K&N makes 2 different air filters for the S1000RR (Race & Street)?

You are correct there is the BM-1010 street filter and the BM-1010R which is the race filter.
