Default Yoshimura BMW S1000RR R77 Full Exhaust System

Yoshimura builds very few full-titanium exhausts systems for sportbikes and they’re usually the reserve of their factory superbike teams. But, after the California-based company saw the potential of the BMW, they went all out to create an R-77 full titanium exhaust system for the German beauty. Only six people in Yoshimura’s USA factory are permitted to weld titanium, so production of these exhausts is rather limited and quality is top-notch. Each system is made starting with stock titanium tubes that are cut and bent using CNC machines. As a result, every piece is the perfect length and bent correctly to shape for easy installation and maximum power output. To facilitate tuning flexibility, the Yoshimura BMW exhaust includes three plugs for lambda sensors – two for the OEM units and a third one further back, just below the right rearset to allow the user easy installation of a single aftermarket exhaust sensor. Yoshimura also includes an aluminum heat shield to fill in the void left by the removal of the heavy catalytic convertor.

To hang the R77 muffler, Yoshimura gives you the choice of using either the included carbon fiber muffler hanger or the OEM passenger peg to hold the terminal end of the BMW R-77 exhaust in place. The R-77 muffler itself is the latest design from Yoshimura with a unique trapezoidal shape which provides maximum muffler packing capacity while still permitting massive gas flow through its straight baffle. Yoshimura claims this design provides better engine performance than a round or oval shaped canister. It’s also the same muffler used on all Yoshimura Suzuki AMA Superbikes.

Yoshimura BMW R77 full systems are not yet available on our website. To order yours, call TJ at 866.931.6644 ext 817. You can also email us with any questions you have – send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM with S1000RR R77 FULL SYSTEM in the subject line and we’ll get back to you right away.

BMW S1000RR Yoshimura exhausts come with all required hardware and clear installation instructions.

The third exhaust sensor bung is found under the right rearset.

Carbon fiber is Yoshimura’s only choice for the S1000RR’s muffler. The R77 full system also includes a carbon fiber muffler bracket and hanger.

All Yoshimura full systems are designed and constructed in the USA.

The included aluminum heat shield is made with a hole just below the oil drain plug to facilitate easy oil changes.

This dyno graph shows the difference in power output between the OEM exhaust and the R77 full system. Of note, this data comes from an un-tuned bike! You can expect even greater power gains with a properly tuned fuel map.

I had a Yoshi pipe on the CBR and loved the quality. What's the warranty they offer and what is the price shipped to 33351?

All Yoshimura of America, Inc. exhaust systems carry a limited one-year warranty against defects in workmanship and/or materials.
