Default BMW S1000RR Fairing Stay

Motoholders Fairing Stay Brackets for the BMW S1000RR are a lighter and better crashing alternative to the OEM piece. Designed to fit German liter bike perfectly, these are ideal for those of you racing and doing trackdays. The Motoholders stay is made with an all-aluminum design that is precision bent and hand welded. Because of this, it will also crash better than your BMW’s OEM cast stay. OEM fairing brackets are known for their tendency to crack and/or shatter on impact making the Motoholders bracket added insurance at the track. The OEM gauge cluster fits right in with no modification required.

Simple to install and ¼” lbs lighter than OEM, call TJ at 866.931.6644 ext 817 for fast shipping. You can also email him, send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM with BMW STAY in the subject line if you have any questions.

Fairing ears include mounting hardware.

OEM gauge fits in with no fussing, cutting or other modification, just re-use your OEM grommets.

The Motoholders and OEM sitting side by side.

Default Installation Guide

Aside from removing the upper fairing, installing the Motoholders fairing stay is a simple operation. Simply remove the OEM stay and be sure to retain the three grommets and C-clip that hold the instrument display in place. You’ll also need to retrieve the gasket that goes between the OEM bracket and the frame’s intake snorkel.

Here’s the required OEM snorkel gasket installed.

Mounting is a straightforward process. You can re-use the four screws that held the OEM fairing bracket in place. We replaced the original screws with Ti Allen-head hardware.

Here, you can see the OEM gasket that goes between the stay and the intake snorkel.

Re-install the instrument cluster and wire it up. You could have it on the bracket before you start, but then why run the risk of dropping a tool on it if you don’t have to?

Add aftermarket fairings, line up and drill two holes to keep the upper in place and you’re ready to go!

I don't think so. There's no provision for headlights either. It's a race part.
