Thanks for the quick reply.

Couple questions (I'm asking here so others who might have the same questions as me get the answers as well): how much does it weigh? I have only been able to find one listing of the Corsair V weight online but it's from 2010. Could you please weigh both the medium and large helmets on a postal scale and post them here. How do they fit compared to the Shoei's? I wear a medium Shoei, but it's a little tight and can get irritating after 4 or 5 hours of riding. This would be my first Arai and any fitment tips you can provide would be great. Get back with me when you can...I want to buy one but I must do my homework first.

Thanks!

Our scales do not go down to grams. The 2010 and the 2012 helmets will structurally be the same (so the weight should also be the same). The shell for the medium and the large are also shared (just different cheek pads and liner) so the weights will be very close there as well. The large may be a few grams less as it uses 5mm thinner cheek pads and a 3mm thinner upper liner.

I wear both an XL in the Corsair V and also the Shoei X12, the fit is very similar for me. That said you can purchase different liners and cheek pads if the standard units are not perfect for your head shape.
