Default Lifting front wheel

Hey folks, when exiting a curve what gear do you use to lift the front wheel a bit. Not a wheely just a lift like MotoGP.

Also with the DTC on this is pretty safe as it will limit the lift right?

Depending on the exit speed, either 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th.

Or 5th gear for bragging rights!

6th gear and we know you're lying...

1st, 2nd and 3rd most definetely, in race mode thats is as I experienced on a track day in June.
Yes with DTC on it cuts the power before you would flip over backwards!

I've done it a few times in second gear while in race mode. It's pretty cool and the DTC helps you to avoid flipping.

1st/2nd/3rd will bring the front up hard if your weight is back at all or you just come on the throttle to fast. 4th/5th will come up if you come over a crest full throttle or have your weight back too much. I've had the front come up in 5th while I was sitting back a bit too far on the bike at WOT around 175-180mph... not for the faint hearted.

When does DTC intervene for a wheelie in Race mode? Is it based on duration or angle?

So I'm guessing in Race mode say in 3rd gear 70 mph, I can just pin it and the front will lift a bit and then the DTC will agrange to bring it down...right?

Well, if it's anything like the way it cuts in for sport mode, it cuts the throttle until the front tire starts moving at the same speed as the rear (back on two wheels) then it just gives throttle control right back. So if you leave it floored, you can go through two or the pogo style wheelies before you know what's hit you. Happened to me on the test drive!
