Just a note to my fellow uk owners, put your bikes on a paddock stand and run your bike in second gear. Check the rear sprocket for wobbling. My bike had a bad rear wheel manufacturing defect which caused the sprocket carier bearing to fail.

Thanks i just thought as any bike could attend it might be run by a trackday company rather than The Bmw Club.

In an ideal world it would be BMW,s only, but they need to break even.Wouldn't it be good if it were just S1000RR,s?!
I know it is their intention to keep numbers as low as possible though which will mean there will be plenty of space on track. It will also be easy to change to another group.

As normal for MSV circuits-105db static,so akra/arrow systems etc.will probably need baffles.Unfortunately,it's the circuit,s that set the noise limits-not the trackday organisers. If we want to play, children should be seen and not heard!

Full Akra system wil pass then, mine passes 102dB level test at Oulton with no baffle.
