I'm guessing that "misti" is really somebody else, who is trying to gauge what riders think they know. From what I am reading, a lot of them don't know much,or they don't know how to communicate what they know.
Could be a certain person from the other coast, developing some new training materials.

She is real, and she does races..I think she races AMA or at least she did?
But it's funny what people don’t know. I was taking to a guy who said he had been riding for 10 years and he thought you leaned to turn a bike, he had no idea about counter steering.... ...... I don't hold anything like that against people because unless your told or shown you may not know.

+1 yeah she is real and imho just trying to give back to the community, and yeah its really sad how much people don't know or worse yet THINK they know. The first mod people need to INVEST in is a good track based school, so many people would still be alive if they had, its shame really. Its also amazing how much wrong info is out there.

yeah I know I'm just busting her balls!
and IMO people need to get off the whole power mod BS, and like you say spend that $ were is will do some good. Either on track time suspension or tires..I mean my god, what good is a set of HID's going to do you when you over cook a turn on the street and tour facing down a dump truck? I’ll take a bone stock bike with a Penske shock and a fork kit any day over a power modded blinged out POS

If she teaches at California Superbike School, then she has passed Cobie, Dylan and of course Keith Code's scrutiny. So, I'll put up with the Socratic method if I can learn something.
Is this real enough for you?

I don't think he meant it in any negative fashion it sounded more as if he was thinking out loud.

I agree. Of course improvements take a lot of work. A whole lot more than bolting on some parts. For me, feedback is the most important thing I can get, whether from a school or on my own. That's why I invested in a data logging setup before making any major mods to the bike. It's plenty fast with a stock exhaust.
The ability to analyze what really happened vs what one "remembers" sure beats going round and round the track repeating bad habits.
For instance, I had a much more experienced rider ride my bike yesterday, so I could get some baseline data. What I found was my apex speeds are actually pretty good. I need to work on the braking and acceleration. I have solid information to go by, to which I can compare future runs on that track.
